Welcome to... Lucy's diary webpage for Winter 2010

MY name is Lucy and I am a loveable Jack Russell cross bred Border terrier and I am nearly 10 yrs old...

I live in Bristol.
Don't most terriers?

A Jack Russell's life seems to be mainly 90% sleep,
5% feeding
4% walkies AND
1% absolute maniacal behaviour.

LIKE running around in circles in front of you while you try to put the black bag into the bin outside, OR rushing to the kitchen when you hit the switch to open the washing machine, OR else running to the front door letterbox when the postman delivers.

Madness!

But that's a Jack Russell for you. Loveable!

I'VE written some more of diary notes and which I hope you will enjoy, along with the photos.

I'll be back again at the end of January
Best wishes for the New Year

Brrrr!!

At least the shortest day is behind us now. Dark nights are getting shorter now, and the days get a little longer as each day passes.

Hope you had a pleasant Christmas with friends and or family, or even by yourself if you were.

A white Christmas?

Don't talk to me about it. Cold white horrid snow and cold winds.

I don't go far for my daily walks!

What a time we've had of it!

Trains broke down in the Channel tunnel, the roads got blocked with snow, the horse racing got cancelled, sports postponed, what a sorry mess.

What to watch on a Saturday and Sunday evening now that X Factor is finished and gone for a while?

It's enough to make me wish I could hibernate.

Mummy and Daddy had Christmas Day lunch at a hotel in Bath, six courses!

There's me with just my biscuits stuck at home until they got back. Then they went out for a Pantomime too. All I got was to watch a bit of telly they left on for me for the evening.

We didn't stay up for New Year. Too cold.
There were some bright sparks who braved it and let off some fireworks at midnight but I really wasn't bothered this year. Didn't even bark. No, just snuggled down more to keep warm and carry on sleeping.

The mornings are not quite so dark but they are still cold when I go out. I have to wear a coat to keep me warm.

It's back to the warm house as soon as poss for me. Up against the radiator is my idea of bliss.

Hope your New Year goes well.
